Jim Hirshfield

Jim Hirshfield is an advisor and modeling expert at Strategic Marketing Sciences, specializing in shopper loyalty and price/promotion analytics. Mr. Hirshfield received his Master of Science in Natural Resource Economics from the University of California at Davis. He has over a decade of senior analytic and corporate account management experience across a number of verticals including consumer packaged goods, telecommunications and the energy fields.

Mr. Hirshfield left Information Resources Inc. (IRI) in 2007 where he was Vice President of Custom Loyalty Analytics. He managed IRI’s custom analytic practice in San Francisco and founded the Loyalty Analytics team which focused on shopper loyalty and strategic price and segmentation solutions for major retailers such as Walgreen’s, CVS, Ahold and 7-Eleven. He has an extensive history of designing and delivering advanced analytic and pricing projects for Fortune-500 clients including Coke, Pepsi, ConAgra, Clorox, Kraft, E-Bay, Unilever, Visa, Nestle, Wal-Mart, Meijer, Target and Intuit.
